Cooperation and Sponsorship / Jodoshu Tenryuzan Hozenji Temple, Hozenji Asakusa
Program Contents
Experience sutra copying and making your own amulet at Hozenji Temple, fondly known as Mizukake Fudo-son. Spend a quiet moment facing inward while listening to the deputy head priest talk about the temple's history and charm, and the human warmth that supported its recovery from fires.
Afterwards, enjoy an experience expo-exclusive kaiseki meal at Hozenzi Asakusa, a long-established kappo restaurant with its noren curtain hanging next to the Hozenzi temple gate. The owner will also introduce the history of the restaurant and their dedication to the cuisine.
A mini guide to the charm of Hozenji Yokocho and the story behind its reconstruction is also included first.
It is a high-quality program where you can savor the atmosphere of Naniwa and enjoy a quiet, peaceful moment.
The secretariat will guide you through to the end, so whether you are applying alone or with a companion, please feel free to apply with peace of mind.
